Primary areas of interest include: Development and evaluation of novel dosage forms and delivery systems for drugs and vaccines; Design and optimization of formulations to support the effective delivery of drugs via a variety of routes including pulmonary, nasal, trasdermal, parenteral, oral, buccal and ocular sites; Consideration and enhancement of pharmaceutical formulations with regard to their biopharmaceutical, pharmacokinetic, and physicochemical characteristics; Pharmaceutical education and development.

Normally at least an upper second class Honours Degree in Pharmacology, Chemistry, other relevant discipline or equivalent from an overseas university.
